This exquisite marble chopping board is carved by skilled artisans. This natural stone resists wear and tear while reducing damage to knife blades to cut down the need for frequent sharpening. Additionally, it can serve as a serving platter, making it multifunctional. White marble became the stone of choice for Mughal emperors, especially Shah-Jahan, who ordered the construction of the Taj Mahal using the same white marble from Rajasthan. Prior to the carving process, the raw marble is sculpted and shaped using a hammer and chisel to bring out the basic form.
